I approach claims management by keeping my eyes on the big picture. Rather than narrowly focusing on a claim as a one-off incident, I always consider how it relates to the greater operations of an organization. This helps me provide personal, investigative and consistent claims handling, guiding the process fairly and efficiently.
Prior to my career in risk management, I spent time working in banking and human resources. That experience in operational roles gives me particular insight into the importance of risk management, which many companies overlook in their day-to-day business. I have found it incredibly rewarding when I can help clients manage their claims process as part of a greater risk management process.
